* Please note that this tour includes a 1 hr 45mins hike of medium difficulty. It is unfortunately not suitable for people with limited mobility and requires a minimum of average fitness to comfortably complete the walk. Minimum age recommended for children is 10 years*

TRIP INCLUDES:

★ Transport by executive coach
★ Mam Tor – Castleton. Enjoy a short hike to the summit of Mam Tor (aprox 20 mins climb) and enjoy stunning 360 degree views of the Hope Valley. The Hike continues along The Great Ridge and down into the pretty village of Castleton. Total walking time approx 1hr 45 mins
★ Free time in Castleton to explore the village, or maybe join the Peak Cavern Cave Tour (£20), Peveril Castle (£9) or explore Cave Dale (Free)
★ Stop to walk by Ladybower Reservoir and see the amazing Derwent Dam
★ Return to Manchester on the famous ‘Snake Pass’ and learn a little local history as you take in the view
★ Friendly guides for the day

Suitable clothing – you know UK weather! Check the weather forecast but it’s a good idea to bring warm clothes and a waterproof jacket. Sun cream and bottled water recommended during Spring and Summer months.
Walking shoes/trainers with good grip are needed for the walk from Mam Tor to Castleton

★ Feel free to bring your own food / packed lunch – otherwise there are lots of places available to buy lunch.
